The Desnoes and Geddes (D&G) Foundation has expanded its years-long partnership with Food For The Poor Jamaica (FFPJ) through a donation on Thursday, July 27, of $3.8 million to the charity’s ‘Build Back The Love for Jamaica’ campaign.

Growing up in the tough inner-city community of Parade Gardens in Central Kingston, Rushawn Williams, 18, is hoping to be an inspiration to the youth.

Beer maker Desnoes & Geddes Limited, which trades as Red Stripe Jamaica, has pumped more than $2 billion into the reconfiguration of its plant, specifically the area called the cellars, to produce more of the brew.
